coercing...sounds like that would play into the hands of the egocentric Muslim extremist.Pakistan is Muslim extremism, don't let the Starbucks and McDonald's fool you, only thing keeping it together is the corruption and self indulgence of the military hierarchy. The military has its own fiefdom within Pakistan,if Washington doesn't grease those wheels then the whole wagon will topple over.Pakistan is ripe for an Iranian type revolution.
Are you kidding? Foobar has the best media library there is. It's even scriptable with boolean filtering and custom id3 tags.

“Actually it's more like this:1. Guy writes program and decides to use major trademark to identify his product.2. Apple, in order to protect it's trademark and not open it up for everyone to use and lose the millions it spent getting the trademark such recognition, sends a letter asking Guy to stop using the legal trademark.3. Guy doesn't want to do that because he is riding for free on the iPod train so he drafts a letter.4. He gets a response, when he isn't entitled to one, saying we can't throw away our trademark for one person, sorry.

I understand thats how the game is played. And if thats the way you guys like it thats fine.I've honestly tried to watch the US play in world cup matches. But our guys just don't know how to draw the calls like the other teams. And its extremely frustrating. To the point where I can't enjoy it.Combine that with the recent Ireland vs France match, and this article. Let be honest, soccer (football) needs some adjustments.

@dharh >> "Chrome OS is meant to be a companion computer. Not a primary computer. Why _would_ you store your 3gigs of images on this thing, I certainly wouldn't on my netbook..."I dump memory cards to a netbook all the time. Not for permanent storage... but until I get home. 160GB goes a long way... and you can look at your pictures on a 10" screen instead of the 3" camera screen at the hotel. Plus, Windows XP netbooks can run Word and Excel in a pinch, and even Powerpoint hooked to a projector if you had to.You're right... netbooks are not meant to be primary computers. But, if you had to get a netbook, wouldn't you want one that has more than just a web browser? And if you do use ChromeOS on your netbook... what do you do when you get home to your monster desktop? Are you gonna use Google Docs from now on?ChromeOS just feels backwards to me. It seems like we should have had cloud-based netbooks first... until someone figured out how to put a full OS on a netbook... not the other way around... |
