Exactly - the whole time the "leaders" came across like spoilt brats who thought they had some God given right to know the inner workings and plans at Valve.Valve are saints for even giving the boycott the time of day.
deep frying a turkey will add, at most, 300 calories to the entire bird. Not really that much considering how many people a turkey can feed.

“When I saw the title on this article, I almost thought it was a joke. Talk about obscure, irrelevant history. Wake me up when it's over.Buried.

At one point, FAR more than 97% of not just scientists, but of all people, thought the earth was flat. The consensus was flat wrong. Many of these people no doubt had significant understanding of mathematics and science, but yet they lacked a greater cosmic understanding of their place. They were not stupid, many of them were great builders and scientists who helped get us to our place today.Being wrong is ok, if its us deniers or you AGW guys. Its how we learn.I just don't think we have all the answers. I don't care how many scientists think we do. But just like those people long ago, I could be wrong. Could you? I don't think we understand our planets ecosystem, not even close.!

I personally love the idea of a browser-based OS. In fact, I built one myself on Arch Linux for my Acer Aspire One. Sure, I'm not a normal computer user (I live in CLI), but my habits are mostly the same as anyone else: all my netbook needs is a browser, chat client, pdf reader and terminal/control panel apps. Besides a few specialty tools for my work (LaTeX, and Gnuplot works great along with Python and other UNIX tools), there's nothing much else I think you could really need for a netbook. It's a good idea to cut out the bloat - I think it could be pretty interesting and can't wait till it's ready. Plus that'll mean that Google Video should eventually support Linux too, right? That'd be nice

There are plenty of intelligent people who have smoked weed and don't deserve to be thrown in jail for it. Using your argument we should ban alcohol because I never met a drunk who wasn't a belligerent *****.Not everyone who drinks is a belligerent ***** drunk, and not everyone who smokes is a dumbass pot head.

My theory is there is a big neo-con website, called ConservativeDiggWatchAndAlsoSarahPalinIsHotFapFapFapFap.com, the forums of which instruct subscribers to come to digg and spout the most ridiculous crap possible any time an even remotely pro-conservative story shows up on the front page.Hence all the comments above me.
