“Puppy torture. They tied him to that water bowl and eventually with his lack of strength kept dunking himself. Puppy version of waterboarding. I also like his little brother that was under the camera like "NOOO, let my brother go. I'll tell you what you want to know." And then when he notices the humans aren't listening he starts to drink the water like "I'll save you brother, if i drink all this water you won't be water boarded anymore." Its late, sorry.

No matter what I guess the entire world gets screwed. It's just a matter of how much I suppose. |

Occasionally psychiatrists/psychologists will tell patients diagnosed with Major Depressive Disorder to recount a time in their life when they were truly happy and try to revisit them, if time, money, and other constraints allow. For some people it's a childhood memory of playing with their father, which is pretty much impossible to re-enact, but the therapist may have the client write a hypothetical letter to her father about the memory and why it makes her happy. For other people, a vacation to some place may be the happiest moment they've experienced in some time, so the therapist might recommend the client go back to that place, if she can afford it, if it will not put things in her life in jeopardy (such as a job), and if the therapist actually believes the trip would help her psychologically. Furthermore, people diagnosed with a depressive disorder aren't depressed every single minute of every single day. They will have moments where they are enjoying themselves; however, those moments occur less frequently than they would in "normal" person's life. I have no idea whether the woman from the article is "faking" like many here are suggesting, but the fact that she was pictured "having fun" doesn't necessarily mean that she is faking having depression.

moifauxmail (comment) - "I assume this was the same adaptation that would have seen Salvador Dali as the Emperor of the Known Universe and Pink Floyd doing the soundtrack? Pure amazing crazy that would have been." I felt this needed repeating.
