downloading an OS from Microsoft is a recipe for disaster.
all will be well, MTV has zero problem cutting out video content.

They probably received a threatening phone call Rahm "we'll break your knee caps" Emanuel..
They actually have pretty good coffee, and, unlike most of their other drinks, it's not that expensive.!

I cant help but love the irony on how the right hates Obama soooo much, when he won virtually by default cuz the right was so busy trashing Hillary for YEARS that essentially gave Obama more leverage and eventually won.Sadly it wasnt the Dems that beat the Repubs last year, it was the Repubs beating their own selves with their massive misshandling of government and going into 2 wars unresolved, etc.?
Yes...! haha! |

Well, thanks to the efforts of groups like the EFF and Public Knowledge, we know that ACTA is going to be the fight of our lives. I'm not certain whether or not we'll win, we should, but if we don't, there are always the darknets, there's always I2P, and on top of that, we can draw the Enemy to expend such quantities of resources that it will be a Pyrrhic victory for them.At least for my Senator and Representative, I will automatically not vote for them if they support ACTA's ratification.

I think some folks might be missing the point.Chrome OS is not for running Call of Duty or Photoshop. It's not for running SETI or downloading torrents or plugging in your camera and dumping all your photos. If you want to do that, you're already running an OS that can. Chrome isn't trying to do that, so you're missing the point of dumping on it because it's not Windows/OS X.Chrome is for flipping open your netbook or laptop, counting to three, and being connected to the net. It'll run on super light (read: inexpensive) systems, it'll be free and will fill a space that Windows and OS X have a hard time reaching into. And this, frankly, is where Google belongs: Internet/browser stuff. It's not meant to replace your main OS. It's meant to supplement it. You don't have to say "***** Chrome OS" because nobody's trying to steal your favorite OS away from you and make you use it.Short version: Settle down.

I think a better strategy would be to name it like "Rocky Mountain Oysters", using the formula "[Location] [Food that it is not]"So, assuming that this tastes kind of like a mollusk, you might call it "African Conch", or an "Uyo Scallop", and people would om nom it all day long. |
