@KimballOI agree with you that this idea is not scientific, for the reasons you stated. I disagree, however, that it's a waste of time, and that the only value of metaphysical speculation is "as sci-fi".Sure, it's not a scientific idea, but that's ok because there's nothing that says the only good ideas are scientific ones, or that all unscientific ideas are a waste of time. I don't think Demmocritus was wasting his time when he proposed the atom theory of matter, even though it was completely unscientific at the time. Nor do I think Einstein was wasting his time when he proposed his special and general theories of relativity, even though they were born out of thought experiments and not tested empirically until years later. And I don't think string theory is a waste of time, even though it's never been subjected to empirical testing, and it's not even yet clear that it can be tested any time soon. There are examples throughout the history of science of people resorting to speculation and philosophy, especially during times of scientific crisis. What matters is that the ideas they come up with are *in principle* testable. I see no reason why this idea is untestable in principle, even though of course we have no way of testing it right now.
guess i had never really thought of huckleberries as rare or exotic food. rest of the world, your missing out.

“The newspaper in question:http://bayimg.com/KAeHJaAcPIt is also notable that Vietnam is still going on according to this newspaper. Which makes this theory about Back To The Future and Watchmen have more holes in it than my socks.

That brawl (which lasted fifteen minutes) happened after last night's game against Tampa Bay—I saw it on TV and talked to a friend who was in attendance. Intrigued by what the aftermath was, I checked the Ducks message board for answers. Apparently that little girl—who the stick was intended for—is the daughter of Mike Vallely aka Mike V (a professional skateboarder and musician); who, incidentally, is also the perpetrator that grabbed the man in the blue shirt and provoked the fight. As of last season Mike V ran a blog on the Ducks website and even did some promotional stuff with the team; he also has a seasonal box at the Honda Center so it's obvious that he had some pull within the organization. His outburst was an utterly shameful move that not only makes said organization look bad, but also sheds negative light on the fans in general which is sure to incite even more mockery (hopefully overshadowing the Disney era). His blog on the Ducks website has been removed since the incident and according to The Orange County Register he probably won't be attending any more games for a while "A Ducks spokesman said that Vallely was not an official employee of the organization, but that the Ducks have terminated their relationship with him." Good riddance Mike V.http://ducks.freedomblogging.com/2009/11/20/pro-sk ...http://ducks.freedomblogging.com/2009/11/20/video- ...
