Never heard of him. Was he born retarded or is it the weed?
Just thought I'd mention since nobody has yet and I'm sorry if it's obvious, but this is not real footage. It is a statistical climate model that has been generated using climate data. It does look very beautiful, but it is computer generated.

Cigarettes were called coffin nails in the before the 50s for sure.
Sounds stupid. Any linguist worth his salt should know that even without "movements" in word order you can change the meaning of a sentence by changing the intonation and/or stresses. Sure, written language would require clearer division between a question and a statement (punctuation marks were invented for the same reason), but that has nothing to do with a "common origin".!

I'm not trying to rip off Penny Arcade. I'm posting on digg about Dune. Do you really think I was trying to pass it off as my own, hoping that no one would notice? Also, applying standard logic to the machinations of Brian Herbert will do you no good. Omnius was destroyed in those prequels, and yet he still somehow manages to show up in Hunters of Dune and Sandworms of Dune, two books that were supposedly based on Frank Herberts 'notes' for Dune 7.If they managed to infect what were supposed to be two books based on Frank's notes, I have no doubt that they would also manage to do the same thing with a film adaptation of his original novel. As if that weren't enough, your post lost any valid points it may have had when you claimed that Brian Herbert's additions to the series haven't detracted from it. |

a) 'pro-life' is a ridiculous over simplification, meant to imply that anyone against them is 'anti-life' (To be fair, the label 'pro-choice' is also over simplified, although not as much).b) So, everyone dies eventually, does that mean we're all pro-death, too?

Yup, this is Illinois alright. Two seasons here. Winter and road construction. It's a never ending cluster ***** and I'm in the middle of it. Plus our local government is a joke. They have been moving piles of dirt back and forth for as long as I can remember and the roads still suck. Talk about wasting time and money. Got to be good at something I suppose. |
