Does tackiness change?
Advantage or not the guy is passsionate about what he does and obviously want to prove that handicapped people are not less capable than fully limbed athletes, so best of luck to him in is future endeavors.

@mrsteveman1 >> "You think you're the target market for Chrome OS? Or even an average user?Nope...but even an average user is used to saving files to a hard drive. It's one thing to switch to an alternative OS... it's another thing to switch to a cloud-based OS.A ChromeOS netbook would be great for browsing the web. But, like I said, you can do so much more with a local OS.Even if the average user only uses their current netbook to browse the web... why limit them to only that? I know lots of people who carry a netbook for travel, and dump their memory cards onto it. Nowadays, that's not an unusual activity.Peek : email :: ChromeOS : webYes, the web is a lot of things... but it can't deliver an entire computing experience.?
@Namesbond: Haha, right, get busted for torrenting games. That'll happen. It's nice that you have friend who competes with you for achievements in single player, but most of us don't. Most of us don't really care too much about posting achievements to our profiles. |

Yeah the writer isn't very knowledable about the matter.App writers don't have trouble programming for a platform. With a decent API you actually learn pretty quickly. The real problem is maintaining that code on several platforms. In general most App writers will choose between the iPhone or Android OS to write a App but they won't do it for both. The problem is Android OS is still relatively new and it didn't hit the ground running so the iPhone is the obvious choice but as Android spreads it will become the better bet for App developers. On the other hand the Android OS versions are pretty compatible with each other aside from the older handsets that lack the necessary hardware. Porting apps from 1.6 to 2.0 isn't exactly difficult but again until Android picks up steam developers will choose the iPhone. That trend should turn around in the next 6 to 12 months though with Android gaining steam at a rapid pace.
