good in theory, in practice from what I've seen not so much
I agree with this. Yes maybe we are a long way away from full media rich applications available over the internet, but this OS isn't aimed at the people who want that *****.I do a lot of residential IT work and you'd be amazed at how many people use their computers for ONLY Facebook, IM, and online banking... in that order. For those types of the people, this OS doesn't look so bad.

“But see, the problem is her "image" took over her career. It's not about being a musician/songwriter anymore. It's about making the most noise by wearing the most insane outfits at the latest award ceremony. To quote Lewis Black, "sad but true, my friends. sad, but *****' true!"

Are we always trying to break our previous record of getting as many CollegeHumor articles as the previous day?.
Is anyone surprised?!

That is arguably the most annoying website I've ever visited. Completely visitor-hostile: could they cram any more ads and links onto each page? And no way to progressively view each bottle? Jesus. Forward, back, forward, back... no thanks.?
Its awesome. Seriously. The best one that Pepsi Japan has come out with lately. Shiso Pepsi was the worst, and tasted like leaves from a tree. And yes, I have tried to eat leaves from a tree.Currently we have (not pictured) Azuki Pepsi. Its sweet bean paste flavored. flavor is so-so.. Its a reddish/purple color and tastes like beans and sugar. |

Jesus Christ. You don't have to feel sorry for someone who commits suicide. They obviously made that decision. But for *****'s sake at least have some respect for the dead. South Korea has the highest rate of suicide for females of anyone other than China (14.1 out of every 100,000 females in 2006). It's unfortunate, but it's certainly not out of the ordinary for people who grow up in a society where it's so accepted.

Whats stopping people from having a box for single player games and another box for offline games? To make matters worse if you are renting or sharing games you want to play online it's pretty much the same thing. You still get your way.The real problem is a whole flood of Xbox 360's will be on eBay and Craiglist now that have been banned and unaware users will buy them and end up with consoles that can't get online.Rather than outright banning consoles you could just detect when a pirated game is trying to access the service and block it.

#6 You are right. The scariest thing was when I went to Haining, and from there I went to the tidal bore. When I arrived, many people were trying to get off the bus (myself included) while many other people were trying to get on. I was the last person on, and no one had a concept of my safety or well being having any value. I was literally scared that I was going to be injured by this solid mass of humanity charging into the bus all at once. I put my fists to my chest, holding my elbows out like weapons, and I managed to get through the crowd alive, and without a jiao missing. I was actually surprised that it ended so well. |
