Arresting people for their opinions is a pretty scary concept, even if well intentioned.

"Funny you could remember all those numbers and percentages from the article but not where you read it or a link to it...."Pardon me for assuming you could at least do a simple google search. I should have known.

Your post is absolutely wrong. Teeth are quite a late defense mechanism for cats. After their claws have failed. They also use their claws to climb trees to escape danger, not just to ward off attackers. I've yet to see a cat use their teeth and hind legs to get up a tree, but I suppose it could happen. And arguing that the knuckle isn't fully attached, so this is somehow less inhumane? Give me a ***** break. You're condemning the cat to walk around with nubs for the rest of their life.Of course, the safest place for your cat to be is inside only. Inside-outside or outside cats are pretty much all doomed to one of two eventual fates: predators or being hit by a car. But even inside cats will escape from their prisons sometime, and it's best they have all of their faculties available in the outside world. If you're having problems with them attacking your furniture, there are some really easy solutions: double stick tape, buy them a real scratching post, etc, etc. |
