And we are also getting flying cars.
Hollywood reports record breaking profits again this year, they don't seem to be getting destroyed like they claim.

/s = sarcasm.
"Bacteria of medical significance to humans were identified in all of the tested cigarettes and included Acinetobacter (associated with lung and blood infections); Bacillus (some varieties associated with food borne illnesses and anthrax); Burkholderia (some forms responsible for respiratory infections); Clostridium(associated with foodborne illnesses and lung infections); Klebsiella (associated with a variety of lung, blood and other infections); and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (an organism that causes 10 percent of all hospital-acquired infections in the United States)."Alright, when will we stop reading these The Onion sto.... (reads url bar: http://www.sciencedaily.com/ )Oh SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Where do you see a gif? Why the hell does it say there's a video? I would bury it for that but whatever this is pretty awesome anyway.?
Why don't you just boycott them for having a really crappy and annoying commercial? That would be perfectly reasonable. |

This may sound heretic, but I believe there will be no Web 3.0 waiting for us. The next stage of the web is for it to die and something better will appear to replace it. Something, you know, designed for rich applications. Not this ugly, hackish, CSS+HTML+Javascript+XML+stateless/cookie/session mess we have today. The web is good at what it was designed for. And that is, text content and linking. Information retrieval. It was never designed to look attractive, or actually function as a user interface (beyond clicking links). If we are to preserve our collective sanity, then we would design a proper API, language, and system for internet applications. No more CGI, browser quirks, or other nonsense.Maybe I'm dreaming here, but I think we've forgotten that there is more to the internet, and more possible, than just cramming everything on to port 80.

I have a hairbrained idea. Instead of wasting our tax dollars on 4 year lawsuits talking about how the Army was at fault, how about we blame the flooding on drumroll please:Hurricane Katrina...an uncontrollable natural disaster. I'm fairly confident had Hurricane Katrina never happened, those canals and levees would still be there happily rotting away. This is just idiotic, wasteful, and shows just how many people just want someone else to take responsibility for their bad luck and problems. IT WAS A MASSIVE HURRICANE! Bad things happen in a hurricane. If you don’t like it…don’t live on the coast. I want to get on my soapbox and say a whole lot more, but I can’t…it won’t change or improve anything so I think I’ll just be quiet.P.S. I don’t hear of the Galveston area suing the Government…good for them moving on, rebuilding, doing what America does.
