Why does it seem like religious nuts are always LOOKING for something to protest?
Stay home. Order your ***** on the net. Laugh manically when the news comes on and tells about the shootings and trampling. Give your UPS guy a bottle of booze when he delivers your loot.

“Amen to that, even if they updated the SMTP protocol today, 20 years from now there would still be countless servers running the old protocol. There are still Windows 95 machines out there by the millions...

We did learn about that kind of stuff in English 1 though, but I don't remember specifically learning about the "slippery slope problem" being a fallacy..
They probably can't, however those who have the mutation and aren't infected can pass on their genes.!

LEAVE IRAN ALONE!?
it doesn't help that the entire theory ignores the fact that the liquidity of money (how fast people spend their money) is lowest amongst the wealthy and highest amongst the poor, meaning the people who spend money the slowest and need it the least are expected to spend it fast enough and in enough quantity to supply it to those that need it most and go through it fastest in adequate amounts to stimulate economic activity. Doesn't happen when they stick huge amounts of it in an investment fund that feeds it right back to them. |

To be fair, there are even scientist who dispute the belief that DNA is a helix. But, generally, these scientist are intelligent individuals entertaining ideas for fun. In other words, their pursuit is purely intellectual (and perhaps a strong desire to outsmart everyone in their field). Not to mention, reading these papers really highlight what we know/don't know about any subject... which is great for students. But, 'HIV causes AIDS' denialist believe the evidence is fabricated for some religious crusade against homosexuals and people who engage in risky behavior. In other words, they look for reasons to support their pre-conceive notions about the world. They don't do it for educational/intellectual purposes.

I also live in China, and would like to note one thing. The quality of the stuff here is terrible. The goods exported to the world are of much higher quality than that kept in China. It's cheaper here for a lot of things, but if you want quality, you're still going to pay a lot for it.
