Not to mention:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LsSppYxSHk"If we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. You can take that to the bank"
SPF is problematic. For instance, you run into problems with mail forwarding: a forwarded message looks like it comes from the "wrong" host and will set off alarms on SPF-based checks. One thing that SPF is useful for is marking hosts that never send mail. If recipients paid attention to SPF records that said "You'll never get any mail from this domain, ever", a lot of spam could be sent straight to the bit-bucket (until the spammers caught on and stopped forging those domains).

“The non-video services (ip-relay) are a PITA for financial institutions and other businesses. The bank I work for has had thousands of calls just over the last 6 months or so requesting info for various accounts, with 9/10 being fraudulent. Fortunately, when setting up accounts, there are comments stating the client is deaf. Also, some of our deaf clients use email to communicate (not impenetrable, I know) with bank staff.

Maybe the question should be, why is the government paying for these services to begin with? It subsidizes the telephone industry, and takes valuable capital away from other technology developments, like Video Skype, etc. that could compete with them, and provide a better service for lest cost..
As someone who is not a copyright treaty critic but hates Hollywood anyway, I take offense at being left out.!

I booked a vacation to Jamaica with my wife a few years ago. When we got there we found out it was split in half. Nude, and... well not nude. At first we stayed on the prude side, and then then we got our courage up to visit the "other side". haikuFU is right, 98% of them are not hot. But when was the last time you went for a walk and didn't see at least one person that you wouldn't mind seeing naked.I remember sitting by the ocean, and one young couple took the seats in front of us. They stripped down and the husband proceeded to put sun tan lotion on his girlfriends boobs. That's when I decided that Jamaica was the best place to vacation evar.

Clyde Drexler was the man. I loved watching him as a kid. If Jordan wasn't around, Clyde would have been it. I'm glad he got his ring with Houston.Phi Slamma Jamma! |
