I can tell you exactly why your grandma is not online. Contrary to what your dumb ass might think, it's not because she is too old or not smart enough to learn how. It is because computers and the internet poorly accommodate basic operation by older people. Most of your input is done via mouse. Old people usually can't mouse around for extended periods of time due to joint problems, and some can't mouse at all, due to their hands shaking. Then there are font sizes. The ***** internet has narrowed itself exclusively to 11 and 12 pixel fonts, and even I am irked by this, because although I'm not an older person, I do use an incredibly dense 1920x1200 laptop screen, and everything is tiny.Hell, even entire operating systems are designed ignoring the above point. If you think you're doing your grandma a favor by getting her a Mac, consider that there is no way to change the DPI in OS X other than changing the resolution and making everything blurry. If these sort of things became accounted for, needs that are genuinely beyond the control of seniors, then they would gladly learn even quantum ***** physics if that's what it took to get online.
wasn't the cracked version of spore offline only?

I think that it is less literal than that. I think 'losing the roar' is a metaphor for going out of business entirely. Article claims that there seem to be no buyers, and there is doubt that the company will survive at all.but that's really not the story I was expecting.?
I thought this was a great way of responding actually. Why formulate it as a ridiculously long, complicated business letter full of corporate ***** when you can just say it in two sentences?I wish more companies would do it... |

Why do the social programs have to stop and not the ridicules military spending. Get a clue as to were all the money is being spent before demanding that we stop spending on ourselves a.k.a. social programs.

I like that Newsweek keeps Drudge off of the list. That site can't be ignored like that.Of course the fact that his breakthrough moment was that Newsweek was sitting on the Lewinsky scandal probably had something to do with the omission of him from this list.
