The EU President really isn't anything like the US one. It's just a figurehead post, they can't veto anything, control the military, etc. So it doesn't require a popular vote in the same way.Besides, many countries in Europe (the UK being the first example that comes to mind) don't even directly elect their Prime Minister.
dude, it's Friday afternoon, I've exhausted my weekly supply of deep thoughts and expert opinion.

How will they do this? Photoshop their leading product cannot even see my 9600 ffs!.
As far as the United States goes, products have more rights than that actual citizens. I'm voting for a revolution and the immediate restriction of corporations on any Law or citizen.!

One of the other purposes is cheating, and I'm just as glad to see those people gone as well.

As if the cringe worthy sexist subtext of the novels wasn't enough, the movies feature some of the most overwrought acting I've ever seen. The dialog plays out like bad fanfiction, the setting is about as compelling as a desk chair, and the characters have all the depth of a piss stain and are about as appealing.I have no idea what is supposed to the least bit appealing about these books or movies. None. Have people just not read good writing before? Have they not seen a good movie before? The only way I can imagine someone enjoying all of this is by virtue of simply not knowing any better. The really disturbing part is that I'm at university and all of these 18-22 year old girls are just as obsessed with these books as your average middle schooler. These are people I would otherwise respect, and yet here they are obsessing over stories that, aside from being just poorly conceived and written, effectively set women back 50 years.I just... why? Can anyone explain to me why?

Dont say its "actually not a bad beer" and then justify that statement by saying it is better than the macro breweries... thats like saying mcdonalds is actually ok cause its better than eating a turd...Sam Adams is horrible. It tastes gross, not everyone wants a pound of hops in their beer... Its supposed to be a lager, not an IPA. I hate it and I hate their commercials |
