The numbers are not important, we're not talking about biggest market share here, we're talking about perception and how the masses think. Jobs, especially in the last 10 years, has taken Apple and made it a company that others strive to be. Notice how other PC manufactures are modeling their newest systems after Apple's sleek style. Windows 7 is being help up to the standard of OSX. The Job's philosophy turned computers from tools to art pieces, form AND function and function as form. And frankly, he's convinced investors that you don't need to be top dog to be top dog. Apple is incredibly profitable and nearly recession proof, but as you say, has less than %10 of the PC market share.

“I really don't think movies like UP, Superman Returns, or Harry Potter 5 lost any story to the 3D elements. What about movies that originally had no 3D like toy story 1 and 2, they didn't lose any of that story either with the addition of 3D which i believe a lot of people enjoyed.I really like the 3D elements and they will only get better in the future.

Interesting that the AGW apologists see no problem in the apparent prostitution of the climate 'scientists' involved, to get research money and the adulation of the greenies in their pronouncements. And it is these same apologists who refused year after year to even consider any scientific evidence that their views might not be correct, solely because it questioned the pronouncements from on high of these same scientists.Al Gore, call your office. The stone wall has been breached and the scientific data and principles of your experts are up for severe inspection... years after they should have been..

Maybe they ought to do a cost-benefit analysis here. Other than gaining esoteric quantum knowledge, what benefit is this to society? We're in a recession, after all...

The driving was a lot more fun in San Andreas than GTA 4. They went to far over in trying to make it realistic. Riding a motorcycle = instant death. |
