This is exactly the reason the US government needs to take over the internet, even shut it down. It's for your own good! Oh please Congress, hurry and put that bill through from Senator Rockefeller so I can sleep at night./sarcasm/

“It is clear from the interview that he is very nervous (i.e. he said 19 then or 17). His mind seemed to be very occupied with the interview, camera, scandal surrounding his family, what people would think...etc. I'm sure he didn't mean it and if he would get another chance (in my opinion) in a more comfortable settings and some preparation he wouldn't have said that.

Google's Chrome OS will only come with hardware (except for those that build it from source, who are in a small minority) and it can't run any traditional apps. There is a place for Chrome OS in the software world but to talk like it's somehow going to even remotely threaten or dent MS's marketshare crazy. Chrome really only makes sense in the context of a netbook or a terminal system like an internet cafe or library. The mainstream potential for it (atleast at this point) is pretty minor, and without the Google name attached it wouldn't have a chance of surpassing even Ubuntu.
