I bought my computer to run programs. And to run programs, I need an OS. An OS that doesn't run programs is useless to me. My ping to the nearest google server? 84ms. I don't enjoy 84ms of lag introduced at every step of my computing experience.?
Man, I had to read that one a few times. It means that Tarou bought a book in addition to some other activity, which might have been buying something else, or might have been some other action other than buying. Because of the implication of "additionality" (just made up that word), the most likely context is that he'd bought something else. But there could be other actions, though to bother using "mo" there'd need to be some kind of implication of "additionality". Like say if it was a library where you could either borrow or buy books, you might be able to say "The children all borrowed comics. Tarou also bought a book".I think you're right about the usage not being identical across the two languages, but in this case I think what matters is getting to the same functionality by some means or other. I've had a couple too many beers to be confident about that, though. |

Undugg for the crappy quality of the video and the worst video player interface I've ever seen. Drag to resize? Really? What is this, 1996 internets? I don't need HD, but this is like, LD or UD or something. Also, if you pause the video and then try to drag the timeline back to the start (so thus you can start it at the beginning while you get the stupid size right) it starts right back up again.

Evolutionary theory is one of the most unassailable theories to arise in the past 150 years. It may be seen in action in the lab with microscopic organisms and it may be simulated in an artificial environment with ease. Anyone with a brain and no assumptions about the change in populations over time quickly realizes that the question is not, "does evolution occur?" but rather, "how could evolution possibly not occur?"Most importantly, in my opinion evolution is the most elegant theory ever described in the history of mankind. Of all the possible irrational objections to science, the objection to evolution by you and your ilk is the ugliest. What the ***** man? |
