Wow, those mushy colored blocks almost look like video clips!
You wouldn't be overjoyed that an artwork that you created is considered relevant to society in even some way 200 years after you were dead? The reason that this piece is able to be used this way is because it is unique and stands in stark contrast to the more formal, rigid portraits of the period. Something about the composition, the dress, the pose, it's casual nature speaks to our culture and to us as human beings. One of the most major issues any artist faces is that of relevance. Most are never considered truly relevant. Some are relevant in their time or after or even before. But the greats are relevant to all time, to all people. This is a success, not a slight.

“That doesn't mean anything the internet is the only application the majority of users use either way.Instead of buying an 800 dollar PC you can now check your emails and do your status update on Facebook with a 99 dollar netbook that boots up in 5 seconds and puts you straight through to the internet. If you are only using the internet(ie no Photoshop, high end PC gaming or Maya 3D) then why would you invest in a machine that costs you much more to use the internet? For the Facebook and Twitter crowd(aka 99% of PC users) this is a cheaper solution to the same problem.

These people have already declared war on America, and on our system of government. They've done it in a number of places and in a number of ways, including here http://digg.com/politics/Religious_Right_Bishops_S ....
By expansion do you mean another country overtaking us?We are ***** if China calls its bonds.!

The amendment, approved by the Legislature and overwhelmingly ratified by voters, declares that "marriage in this state shall consist only of the union of one man and one woman." But the troublemaking phrase, as Radnofsky sees it, is Subsection B, which declares:"This state or a political subdivision of this state may not create or recognize any legal status identical or similar to marriage."So anything identical or similar to "marriage"--which "consist only of the union of one man and one woman" is illegal in Texas. It sounds pretty clear to me--unions between persons of the same gender are fine, but they will have none of that "marriage" nonsense in Texas. Yeah, I know Texas is famous for being a vast wasteland full of nothing but "steers and queers", but won't anyone stand up for heterosexual rights?

Actually, you probably were. There has been a severe shortage lately so most people haven't gotten the vaccine and yet flu-related deaths are actually running behind what would be expected.H1N1 is a fizzle of a virus - it gives you the sniffles then moves on with a handful of people needing serious care. None of the doom and gloom scenarios appeared - again - it just isn't worth all of the hype.(Remember a few years ago when there was another critical shortage of vaccine and the flu season just happened to end up being lighter than usual?)
