MS may have been worried about Chrome OS before ... but I doubt they are now.In general, technology moves forward, rarely sideways, almost never backwards. Turning a PC into a dumb terminal is not a move forward.
...because you don't have 364 other days to meet people? under normal conditions? without smelly cat lady breathing down your neck?
I agree. My wife is an uber Twilight fan and she had me read them. As blatant as the ending of the complete story is and as painful as it is to watch the cast try their luck at acting, if it encourages someone to pick up a book instead of the remote, I am for it.

I agree with Temalkos. Someone had a beef. They are scrambling to cover this up. Sadly climate science is a legitimate enterprise that was taken over by politics. When the damage from this is sorted out it will cast a pall over the credibility of climate scientists for years to come.?
I requested a correction. The breaking story had it wrong.

I remember an old (and probably bad? I was a kid.) movie about a fighting championship in the future, but you were only allowed a certain percentage of your body to be machine to compete. They found out one guy cheated after he had his arm almost broke in two. I think the "hero" of the movie was trying to win it without the help of any cybernetic implants.Anyone remember the name of this movie?
