It wasn't just Louisiana that got money, by the way. and also, in case you haven't noticed, politics is all about "you scratch my back, i scratch yours." if you want to change the system, go right ahead..
i always seem to finish my popcorn before the film starts!

I gotta say, none of these compare to soccer/rugby stadiums in Europe where an average of 4-5 people die every game. just a thought?
Don't want it. How would you play a large game or edit video or even photos with this? Also, what if my DSL provider sucks and I have come to expect periodic outages? If I can afford high speed wireless, I can afford a better laptop than what these will have.I don't think there is really much of a demand for this kind of cloud computing yet. If there were, people would already largely be doing it with existing devices. A quick booting, cloud-only device won't sell them on it. Maybe (maybe) this will take off for primary education, where they need a tightly controlled environment, but I doubt it has potential elsewhere right now.Main point: the device won't sell the concept. |

Interesting. Clinton is the only one that actually improved compared to when he came into office. Reagan was a best a little worse than when he started.

Well, I can either go to the movies and have a marginal experience while paying a ton of cash for a drink, a bag of popcorn etc. or wait for the disk to be released (or both) and have the movie in a form I don't want it in, OR I can download the movie in an open form and move it to any device I want it on. For free? Huh, I can think of only one industry that ****s its customers, charges high prices for it and can stay in business and that one is illegal in most states. But still the entertainment industry tries to emulate it. The new model for this style of industry has to let loose the idea that it can grab every penny, that just isn't going to happen. They have to find a way to get a little bit from a lot of volume. That goes for movies, music or newspapers. They either have to find some way to adapt or they are going to disappear. The ironic thing is some of the movies I've most enjoyed lately have been videogames.

"Bacteria of medical significance to humans were identified in all of the tested cigarettes and included Acinetobacter (associated with lung and blood infections); Bacillus (some varieties associated with food borne illnesses and anthrax); Burkholderia (some forms responsible for respiratory infections); Clostridium(associated with foodborne illnesses and lung infections); Klebsiella (associated with a variety of lung, blood and other infections); and Pseudomonas aeruginosa (an organism that causes 10 percent of all hospital-acquired infections in the United States)."Alright, when will we stop reading these The Onion sto....
