“Just so you know, you're wrong. Che was a doctor and did what was needed to heal his nation. Plenty of Cuban-Americans love what he did for their homeland.

Read the article: it was a mandatory part of secondary school (11-16), but not primary school (5-11). It's now in primary schools too..
Correction, CBO, not CDC!

I hear that is an uncomfortable place.?
I disagree, they cannot legislate against pot for health reasons (until a Government-run Health Care system is in place) because that is too blatant of a violation of our freedoms so the people wouldn't buy that reason which is why it has never been attempted with any substance. Though, now they often claim for health reasons as a cover for the truth in this but it is lies. |

It's a tough one. I don't like the compulsory aspect of the licence - if I don't watch the BBC I shouldn't have to pay it. On the other hand it means the BBC does not owe any responsibility to advertisers, they don't show adverts between programmes, they generally make higher quality programmes than the commercial stations, they can make educational programmes that would be of no interest to commercial broadcasters and they can remain unbiased in their reporting. It also means they have a duty to the public to entertain, educate and inform that they cannot shy away from. It ALSO means we get a (small) say in their running. So really, other than the compulsory nature of the TV license, would we REALLY be better off without it? It has lead to some fantastic BBC productions over the years.

To be honest, the way he said it didn't sound that bad. It was more like a "probably, yeah I'd like to know how bad it is" vs a "probably, hand me that box of tissues". Though, it might be both.
