| Heck, look at half-life 1 & 2. Both had some really great single player experiences that were revolutionary for the time, and when they came out, they were packaged with a rudimentary multiplayer, but think about the added value you got out of the multiplayer package over the years. I was still playing multiplayer mods of half-life 1 six years after I bought the original game. I doubt Bioshock 2 will have that much value, or be modable, but an interesting multiplayer mode could be fun.I've beat Bioshock once, but never really felt compelled to go back except to look and see if moving to Directx 10 made any appreciable quality difference to the game, since my first playthrough was on XP, and now I'm on Win 7. |

I hate you so ***** much for getting that stuck in my head.
It turns out that the logic of no food = no being a baby machine does NOT compute in our limited brains. What instead occurs is the kicking in of the INSTINCT to pump out babies whenever we perceive our environment to be unsafe. Therefore, starving people = more baby machine behavior. Sadly this has been proven fact. Therefore, creating a safe environment leads to the end of baby machine behavior. As for actual NATURE versus human nature: Abuse cropland and no food will result. Monoculture crops are unsustainable and again no food will result. Dump chemicals to maximize crops and no food will result. (Think bees). Too many of one species, and predatory vectors will arise to take advantage of the situation and kill them off down to a level of sustainable equilibrium. But of course we humans are masters at short circuiting nature, often to our detriment; Certainly in the case of our drastic over-population and consequent destruction of our miracle planet.Nature, it turns out, is complex far beyond human comprehension. We mess over one part of nature for our benefit and destroy an aspect of our ability to survive at the same time. The more attention we pay to how natural systems work, the more likely we are to not screw things up. But that takes in depth and long term thinking. That means overturning some basic tenants of Capitalism.

I guess you have never been "caving".Finding fossils a mile underground is cool. Yup, at least a mile.Crystallized poop. Puts new meaning to the term formations though... *****?.
I don't fully understand when it became acceptable to pass off floating heads, stick figures, and other poorly drawn objects as comics.!

Also granted, Valve did release the survival pack that opened all campaigns of versus up, but to most gamers, that just felt like finishing an unfinished game since not all campaigns were playable in versus at release. I think most people view the current content addition level of L4D1 based upon crash course.

Users need to ask themselves if they are running the safest OS and web browser, are applying updates as they come out, have set up an Internet and/or local firewall, and don not have unnecessary services running. Doing those 4 things at home and at work would go a long way towards insuring public safety. The government cannot do everything if the people are not doing anything.
