That's a lot of chemicals for just one day!?
What an unfortunate situation. It's not his fault, but it's unfair also for him to compete against "normal" humans. Here's why he's at an advantage:"The researchers found that because the carbon fiber Cheetahs are about half the weight (approximately 6 ½ pounds) of an able-bodied sprinter's lower leg, Pistorius can swing his lower leg through the air between strides 15.7 percent more quickly (0.284 seconds at top speed) than the average of five former 100-meter world record holders who were studied. "Oscar is off the charts," said Peter Weyand, one of the researchers and an exercise physiologist at Southern Methodist University. "Clearly, with athletes with intact limbs, there's a lower limit to how fast they can reposition their limbs. With Oscar, if you make that lower limb twice as light, that moves that lower limit."I admire him for getting out there and wish him the best in achieving all he is capable of, but in this case the ruling is correct and it is unfair to normal runners for him to be in their races. |

The show is obviously better when watched in whole, and Curb is harder than most to digest in small pieces due to the way every tiny detail is intertwined with every other throughout the show, but still, not even a chuckle?Maybe I just find them funnier because I've seen all these episodes...

I wasn't aware Ireland participated in sports, all I knew about Ireland was Mickey's malt liquor and Kathy Ireland swinsuit pages in the KMart catalogue.

Has anyone thought that Steve might just be busy and not have time to write fancy-pants girly letters like the one sent to him? |
