Though his use of Taq for PCR was pretty brilliant, the rest of his scientific career has been pretty underwhelming. Also as far as I can see his initial comments were made 3 - 4 years after the discovery of HIV, and in a quick search couldn't find him saying anything about it in the past 12 years. Again quick search so very well may have missed something big. James Watson who has a pretty impressive scientific track record beyond his contribution to DNA has also said some pretty controversial things.
Do not forget multiple parallel universes for each universe and the same for each megaverse

“My autistic 5-year old is really, really bad at reading faces. The best way he learned to understand what we were feeling was this: we had him memorize what a particular facial expressions meant and match it to an emotion: sad, angry, happy...he still doesn't quite 'get it', but at least when he tosses yet another Matchbox car down the potty and flushes, he realizes why steam is coming out of my ears.

Wait, how is this newsworthy? Everything hits bittorrent.?
"...when the collider begins circulating proton beams, engineers have been told not to exceed a maximum "safe" limit of five trillion electron volts."Yep, sounds pretty safe to me... |

I think I use the same technique when I send messages from one of my accounts but make it look like it's coming from another. It helps me consolidate yet maintain multiple online identities. I wonder if doing so triggers others' spam filters?

I don't think it's bad luck; these puritanical idiots might wind up doing something of benefit to society now that their time is no longer occupied with this.
