| I know a LOT of people with modded consoles. I mean in the hundreds. Most people are just gonna go out and buy a new onedo the math.the last time there was a ban wave like this was back in nov of 2007. so the majority of the people back then got banned and bought new consoles. Now all those people got banned again. and what are they going to do? Buy new consoles. in their eyes it just doesnt matter because they save a lot of money on games. Some people play every game thats even worth mentioning. so thats more than a $1000 on games per year. How much is a new console? $200so in the end does it stop people from pirating? No but it does prevent those on the fences from modding their consoles :) |

It depends on the education you get. I know people getting into 80K debt to get a design degree, wtf? Just going to college doesn't mean you're set for life.
In July, authorities reopened the case and used more advanced equipment to search water near her apartment. Her body was found Aug. 18 in a lake divers had scoured before, her mother Arlene Schoening said.An investigation showed Gail Schoening drove through a narrow space and went into the water, the Sentinel reported. The car flipped upside-down before landing at the bottom of the lake.Schoening's family has spent the last 12 years following leads in her disappearance."We're happy she was found, but sad about the circumstances," Arlene Schoening, of North Brunswick, N.J., said Friday. "We'd been going through all the possibilities."

“Odds are if it's baked into a pie- and called it beef and low fat, you could box it it up and sell it in the US and people wouldn't know the difference. Most people will be able to eat anything so long as it doesn't resemble what it originally was.

Do they find it ironic that the computer will most likely be using a type of energy that releases CO2 into the atmosphere?.
Next on CMA's agenda: Sky is reported to be 'blue', and the sun will 'probably rise in the east tomorrow'.!

Being the Daily Mail, they made the point of the story be entertainment news about going around the world in a record amount of time, and not taking good holiday photos. Here's the actual meat of the story:"... in 2003 Calcutta-born Mr Samaddar was left stranded in Johannesburg, South Africa for two days because of visa problems due to his nationality. As an act of defiance, [he] promised himself he would travel to all the countries in the world, using his life savings to do so...determined to complete the whole trip using his Indian passport... as he wanted to prove an Indian could travel the world. He also wanted to highlight the difficulties some nationalities encounter obtaining visas to enter countries - a problem he is very familiar with. As a result of his trip, the Indian national has set up the Travel, Tourism and Peace Initiative, which provides travellers with advice on what documentation they need to enter different countries."At least he did something useful with it. I'm not surprised his photos are not great, as his point was to enter each country using his own country's passport. They are probably photos of various agencies, taken for illustration for his project.?
Definition of language: "Communication of thoughts and feelings through a system of arbitrary signals, such as voice sounds, gestures, or written symbols."So on a very primitive form, animals have language. The sounds they make can signify danger to others in their groups (thus warning them to scarper) or to sound fierce against a rival, etc. That's basically all humans are doing with the sounds we make, it's just we have a lot more of them that can go back and forth. |

Ya know, it's funny, I didn't post that comment trying to be an ass, I'm actually very environmentally conscious, however it seems like once or twice a week we digg up yet another article about all the garbage floating around in the ocean. It's like a few years back it seemed like every frakin' week, like clockwork, you guys would digg up the latest WINE point-release announcement. It just gets... old.We know it's out there, half the site thinks there's a literal trash-island the size of Texas out there that ships could crash into, the other half knows the science behind it and somewhere in all of that Admiral Ackbar will somehow also make an appearance.
