| The other day, I met the sweetest damn cat in the world. On my way home, I stumbled across a water hose that had been left on. I decided to inform the owners, but on my way to the door, a cat popped out from the side of the house. I ignored it because cats typically just stand there and watch you from a distance; however, this one followed me up the steps and rubbed its head against my leg. While I waited for the owners to answer the door, I petted the cat. They never came, so I went around the house to see if they in the back yard. And the cat followed me all the way around, keeping practically a foot away from my heels the whole way. Every time I stopped, it would nuzzle against me, just being as friendly as it could possibly be. When I started walking home, it followed me, even jumping over a stream the water hose had created just to get to me. I barely know that cat, but I absolutely adore it. |

And it would've been called Brokeback Mountain.
When keeping it real goes wrong.

“We're not trying to be "cool", we're trying to get Kevin Rose to realize we want this ad gone completely. We don't want Digg to look like Myspace.

I think humans becoming machines/computers is our next step on the evolutionary path. If you think about it, natural selection really doesn't exist for humans anymore. It's not like we are all out in the wild competing for the same food. Does that slow down or stop human evolution? I feel like the next step for us is not to be afraid of machines taking over the world, but to embrace it as our next evolutionary step.?
Terrible, terrible movie. I was dragged out to it today, it's kind of depressing that the impressionable teenage girl market is doing to movies what it's done to music. |
