just search chromium os if you're serious about using it. i'm going to stick to ubuntu 9.10 myself though, due to the fact it seems to be one of the most stable things out there right now.

My 2 year old Lenovo tablet with a SSD boots win 7 in about 12 seconds and an instant after I type my password, I can have apps opened including IDE's that take 20 seconds to fully load on my home quad core with a standard drive. I knew the HDD was the biggest bottle neck on my home rig, but I had no idea how tight of a bottle neck it actually was until I tried that SSD. I canâ€™t wait till the prices come down on the larger drives.

Domestic users don't have a particular reliance on access to files, and when their house gets robbed, burns down, wife kicks them out, etc than they're going to be grateful that the few files they do require access to weren't local.The domestic market is huge and growing quickly. Consumer also are empowered to make their own purchasing decisions which makes them much more valuable to Google's ad model then the office worker.
