Definition of language: "Communication of thoughts and feelings through a system of arbitrary signals, such as voice sounds, gestures, or written symbols."So on a very primitive form, animals have language. The sounds they make can signify danger to others in their groups (thus warning them to scarper) or to sound fierce against a rival, etc. That's basically all humans are doing with the sounds we make, it's just we have a lot more of them that can go back and forth..
How about if someone goes down to the ground for more than 10 seconds. They have to sit out for some period of time. Thats the way it works in American football. If you go down, you shouldn't be playing on the next play, you are hurt. And yellow cards given if the ref sees someone purposely dive. (Like we do in Hockey)I guarantee that'd cut down fake injuries.!

Digg is truly starting to turn into some kind of twisted combination of the National Enquirer and Fox News. I've already look at reddit a lot more; top diggs like this make me think I need to take digg off my google page entirely. Welcome Freepers and other assorted ***** and creeps, have at it: digg is now yours!?
Instituting it the same way as in rugby would work. It doesn't generally stop the game for too long, and only needs to be used in some situations, not every call. It would definitely make the game more fair, but I don't think FIFA actually wants that. |
