I don't know what the hell they put in those dog treats but it's like crack for my dog.
Both Chrome & Firefox loaded with extensions use more memory than IE.

I really liked "Stay Tooned" from Sierra..
Contrary to popular belief marathon was not very overlooked. I mean it was a mac game and if you had a mac at the time you had and loved the marathon series. Bungie already made quite a name for themselves with the mac community before ms bought them out. Now the games were not popular because they werent really windows games (yes they ported marathon 2 over but that was years later.) now if you going to talk about a game that bungie did that no one remembers you should talk about ONI. I enjoyed that game quite a bit. EDIT: you were talking about myth, not marathon.... a lot of halo fanatics still go on about how no one played marathon or knew about it so my point is still valid.!

From Wikipedia:"Debate continues about how much ice is in a comet. In 2001, NASA's Deep Space 1 team, working at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab, obtained high-resolution images of the surface of Comet Borrelly. They announced that comet Borrelly exhibits distinct jets, yet has a hot, dry surface. The assumption that comets contain water and other ices led Dr. Laurence Soderblom of the U.S. Geological Survey to say, "The spectrum suggests that the surface is hot and dry. It is surprising that we saw no traces of water ice." However, he goes on to suggest that the ice is probably hidden below the crust as "either the surface has been dried out by solar heating and maturation or perhaps the very dark soot-like material that covers Borrelly's surface masks any trace of surface ice".[60]The recent Deep Impact probe has also yielded results suggesting that the majority of a comet's water ice is below the surface, and that these reservoirs feed the jets of vaporised water that form the coma of Tempel 1.[61]However, more recent data from the Stardust mission show that materials retrieved from the tail of comet Wild 2 were crystalline and could only have been "born in fire."[62][63] More recent still, the materials retrieved demonstrate that the "comet dust resembles asteroid materials."[64] These new results have forced scientists to rethink the nature of comets and their distinction from asteroids.[65]"At this point we should probably just say that Dark Matter put all the water there and be done with this mystery for good :)?
No matter what I guess the entire world gets screwed. It's just a matter of how much I suppose. |

It is pretty easy. "Hey I am getting a beer out of the fridge would anyone like one?" Seriously it is a day of football and food. Obviously there is going to be beer also.

I had a Philips Voip841 phone with a base that connected to my router. Worked very well. My handset broke and you basically can't find it anywhere. You can buy the entire set for $500 right now on Amazon. I paid a little over a hundred. Called Philips. They said it was discontinued due to the manufacturing going out of business and they plan to continue making it in the future but not the same line. Basically they are waiting for this Skype stuff to be sorted out. Bought a Zoom adapter. Despite having to be tethered to the computer, it works great. It was $40. |
