HB-1 help America. It transfer highly skilled workers who work under more difficult situations than Americans would. Outsourcing doesn't. It transfers potential taxable income to another country and builds skill in another country. If I was American I'd vote for more skilled immigrants and less outsourcing.

Homer : Ohh, what will I do, Moe?Moe : Why don't you invite him over to dinner? Turn him from an enemy into a friend. And then when he's not expecting it...bam! The ol' fork in the eye.Homer : Do you think it might work without the...fork in the eye?Moe : There's always a first time..
Basically, rules for deep frying a turkey: 1) follow the ***** instructions. 2) keep the ***** away from your house. 3) don't splash the oil, *****. 4) use peanut oil, it has a ridiculously high smoke point, so it takes the skin of the bird and cooks it so fast that the oil can't penetrate it, and leaves a juicy bird, not because it's greasy, because it cooks faster than hell.!

"“For Lord Mandelson to attempt to create new offenses without proper assessment by the Commons is utterly shameless,” concludes Foster."In other words, its not that they're so much opposed to all the penalties as it is that they're upset they weren't consulted first. If there's one thing a politician can't abide by its being bypassed.?
Better question, why feed everyone if it puts us past the point of sustainability and wipes out our entire race? |

About 10% of the Caucasian population is homozygous for a mutation in either the CCR5 or CXCR4 co-receptor that is required for HIV to enter a CD4 Th cell. In fact, there is a class of drugs that's designed to bind the CCR5 receptors and prevent HIV from ever integrating into the host genome. However, you have to take that drug before you're exposed to HIV at all. It's really probably best utilized in places with endemic HIV like sub-Saharan Africa. The real mystery are the long-term non-progressors. There are certain people who have had HIV for 10+ years yet show no clinical signs of progression to AIDS. That is to say, their CD4 counts are high, their viral load is low, and they don't display any of the opportunistic infections that are associated with clinical AIDS (disseminated tuberculosis, pneumocystis carinii, candidiasis, etc). And I'm not just taking about people who are on the proper anti-retroviral therapy. Long-term non-progressors do better than "regular" (for lack of a better term) people, anti-retroviral therapy not withstanding. It's actually an area of active research. Interesting stuff!
