| AES is the standard for what the federal gov't uses for SECERT (128-bit) and TOP SECRET (256-bit). DoD uses Bitlocker as well. I doubt they use something that had a secret backdoor in it. Besides the AES format was developed by two Belgian cryptographers, Joan Daemen and Vincent Rijmen. It's available for anyone to use. It's not some secret magic formula made by Microsoft/USA. |

I don't know why people are so obsessed with her. The republican party is at least smart enough not to pick her as their candidate in 2012, she's not really directly IN politics anymore, and quite frankly only a small portion of her target market even consider her worth their time.
Keeping Austin weird and Ignorant seth553?

Youre an idiot average users don't need to use Thunderbird or Outlook they just check their emails online. Average users don't use Photoshop or the likes either. To most users a computer without the internet is a useless computer.Name one offline only application that a builder or housewife uses as much as Facebook or Twitter.

From the report (page 28):"China also continues to expand its capability to wage cyber warfareagainst other nations, to employ more sophisticated methodsof espionage, and to increase its ability to obtain military technologysurreptitiously from Europe and the United States. China’sespionage activities in 2009 continued to evolve into a more targetedcollection effort for specific information, much of it directedat obtaining specific western technologies useful in developing advancedweapons.Cyber intrusions, including the exfiltration of large amounts ofinformation, particularly data from America’s largest defense contractors, were on the rise in 2009. Anecdotal and forensic evidencestrongly implicates the Chinese government in many of the activities, either directly or through third-party surrogates sponsored byBeijing. Malicious activities directed against Defense Departmentcomputers in 2009 were running at a rate of 240 every day, costingas much as $200 million to repair the damage."Not that it completely answers your question, but I think it gives a clear idea of what they're up to..
The Chinese (being Communist comrades) could send enough solar panels to light the island.Would make great propaganda and maybe open new markets for Chinese manufactured solar panels!

The Republicans always give lip service to fiscal responsibility, so much so that the term 'fiscal conservative' is now often equated with it (and falsely so). Following Reagan's conservative 'revolution' in 1980, a new political paradigm began to govern the country, one which sounded good, but as the last 30 years demonstrated, were a disaster.Starting in 1981, a policy known as 'starve the beast' was employed by the Republicans. This meant *purposefully* running up high deficits in order to try to force cuts in social programs. This was a disaster, and the national debt tripled under Reagan. Skipping ahead to today, we have seen the results of their economic philosophy of tax cuts for the rich, trickle-down, deregulation, and outsourcing good American jobs for short term corporate profits. The rich have become richer, and the illusion of prosperity has been bought by swelling debt thanks to the 'fiscally conservative' policies of the Republicans. Citations below.82% of National Debt Was Created by Republicans http://dotcommonsense.blog-city.com/82_of_national ...Fiscal conservative means borrow and spend, deficits by year http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/3056/nationaldebt ...Obama bans Republican gimmicks to hide real deficit, which will now appear to rise more http://www.nytimes.com/2009/02/20/us/politics/20bu ...Fiscal 2009 deficit primarily cause by Bush policies http://www.americanprogress.org/issues/2009/08/def ... |
