“why would it have to survive incineration? we are talking about a cigarette here, only the tip is ever on fire, at most the bacteria just need to be able to survive the temperature of the smoke as one inhales & pulls the smoke rushing past the unburnt tobacco.

I think it's clear that Officer Anderson was doing at least 90, probably on a street with a 40 MPH speed limit. Without sirens, or flashing lights, and without any legitimate reason for driving so fast. It's really shameful. If he had seen a civilian driver doing that, he'd pull the driver over and take him straight to jail. The cop deserves to be convicted of vehicular manslaughter. Officer Pisano has no business being a cop any more, either. The whole police department should be investigated, to figure out why the hell their officers think it's okay to speed around at 90 MPH just for fun.But I have to say it, the other car was driven by an inexperienced teenager who should not have been behind the wheel that night, because he or she had been drinking. He or she turned directly into oncoming traffic. At the time when he or she started the turn, Anderson was maybe 30 yards away from the intersection -- clearly visible, and much too close for the kid to be starting a left turn, even if the officer hadn't been speeding.

***** YOU NEW MOON. ***** YOU. I mean, I know a movie would eventually come along to take The Dark Knight's opening day crown, but I never expected it to be as ***** of a movie as New Moon. I got worried when Transformers 2 almost had the highest day because that movie is one of the worst movies ever made. But now I don't know what's worse holding the title - a ***** movie about teenage vampire angst or a ***** movie about robots directed by Michael Bay.

Just think of it as a daily reminder to *not buy* the game.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. It's not that people can't smile or have a good time when they're depressed. It's far deeper than that. |
