“I think you are thinking about foreign enemy combatants. Show me the writ of law that says that a terror classification means you have no constitutional rights. This is all splitting hairs. The reason people are worried about him being classified a terrorist is because of his jihadist motivation. Maybe they fear an anti-Muslim backlash. Most are smart enough to put two and two together. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but the vast majority of terrorists are Muslim. To deny this is simply sticking your head in the sand.

It's clearly stated that human remains are not to be sold on ebay.Trust me, I've checked.http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/remains.html.
Exaggeration of facts doesn't mean there is no global warming at all. There's plenty of scientific research to prove that there IS.Alternative fuel remains a valid pursuit, since fossil fuels ARE limited and expensive, regardless of their contribution to warming. The author is guilty of the same extremist writing that turned people against this research in the first place. And agreed, it's not a political issue. It's a science issue.!

Bitter aren't we??
The link to politifact, only talks about insurance company profits over the last 8 years. I didn't find a link to the increase in doctors vs administrators but I encourage you to research it yourself to prove me wrong. Alright so you want to point out the fraud rates on medicare. Those people who defraud medicare are breaking the law. I am saddened by the way people try to take advantage of the system, and I agree it is a huge problem. But that is not a fault of the system. By the same logic I could say that we shouldn't have laws against murder, because people still murder, but that is a ridiculous argument because no matter what, people will always break the law to benefit themselves. And no, the administrators do not work for the insurance companies. The reason why I bring up the increase in administrators is because the system has become so complex, that it takes many trained individuals just to figure out how to bill medical expenses correctly, and those jobs add to the cost of healthcare. I can't remember the exact numbers off the top of my head, but there is something like 3,000-5,000 different health insurance plans in this country, and each one is billed differently. It has become a bureaucracy that makes the federal government look pale in comparison. And that's how they make money. By stalling and questioning, and complicating the process. I went to school for 8yrs to get my PharmD, and I have to answer daily to people with BA's in business that have no clue about medicine. It takes up my time, my staffs time, doctors time, nurses time, etc... And that is how they make their money. They are the epitome of a middle man, and they do a diservice to this country. Why do you think health care has become so expensive? Look at the links I provided. The average MD makes about 139,000$ a year, while the insurance executives, with absolutely no medical knowledge make millions off of our sweat and sacrifice. Is that what you want? |

Voting for something for personal gain? Bribery and corruption charges.Voting for something because it'll help your constituents? Re-election material. She did her job.
