Just a side note on the phrase "starve the beast." I think it has some historical roots.I remember from reading about Elizabeth I and her relationship with the Earl of Essex that when Essex disobeyed orders and returned from the Irish campaign the queen had him put under house arrest and is supposed to have said of Essex: "an unruly beast must be stopped of his provender."?
No, but if he continues the wars - he hasn't changed.if he continues the spying - he hasn't changedif he continues the torture - he hasn't changedif he continues the secret prisons - he hasn't changedif he continues the renditions - he hasn't changedif he continues the Patriot act - he hasn't changedif he continues the FISA - he hasn't changedif he continues the irresponsible fiscal behavour - he hasn't changed.. Seriously, how can people even attempt to defend this crap? Ohh they can't, and that is why there are so many blind digg downs. |
