Correct - Now go and clean my moat!
Never have liked foobar, even though I've tried it multiple times.1) Looks terrible out of the box. After about 2 hours of massive re-skinning and fiddling I got it to look quite good, but almost none of the functions worked as they were supposed to.2) Library and playlist management is terrible, took me another 30 minutes to get the playlist working close to what I wanted, still couldn't drag and drop songs though.3) It reads ID3 tags horribly, I had to change them manually for almost every album I had.4) Sorting by album name, artist and so on didn't work for me. I admit that that was probably my own fault and I just couldn't find the correct button.5) CD cover art was really complicated to change and it didn't read it from the ID tags, so I had to get new cover art for most of my albums. After all that *****, I just decided that foobar can go and ***** themselves and went back to winamp.

There are no women in the image so use your imagination..
How many times will they change a word that has negative connotations before they realize you can't outrun the euphemism treadmill? The phrase "mentally retarded" was picked because, at the time, it was neutral. If you want meaningful change you won't reach it playing word games. If they want meaningful change they will have to change the way people feel about people who are different from themselves. Good luck with that because people seem to be predisposed to fragment into groups and look down on people outside their group.!

Ask her what she's doing out of the kitchen......in stereo.?
I've grown more and more disappointed by my home state by the day. The privatization of our universities is ruining our higher education and our future. Everyone blames the recession, but our schools were doomed since the 2004 Higher Education Compact. Our per-inmate spending is five times our per-student spending. Tuition (which the public schools are supposed to have none of) has risen to the point where families that are hurt most right now can't afford an education to bring themselves up, and all the while classes are expanding to tremendous sizes and curriculum is being cut non-stop.I'm strongly considering moving to a different state after graduating, something I hadn't even considered while growing up. |
