Winamp is easy, everything done for you. Podcasts are easy, interface is what it is and nice. It's well done and somehow has not been made crappy by AOL. Foobar is light weight, customizable and more agile. It plays everything out of the box, but requires some fiddling to get it to look nice. It can do ANYTHING, if you are willing to put in some time. Its ugly, but still highly functional out of the box, with great resource management. Also the Beta seems to play very nice with Win 7 if you get http://wintense.com/plugins/foo_w7shell. Most of the modding and changing of Foobar is a simply by dropping components into the... components directory in Program Files, so though it is a bit less user friendly, its not difficult. Basically, its what you use it for and on. If you have a slow pc, foobar hands down, if you like things to work just how you want, foobar hands down. If you don't like to fuss with things and you really like podcasts and Webradio Winamp is a better choice by far. Foobar will handle podcasts and webradio, it just takes fiddling. I ... sadly use both and am still unsure which to get. I was just deciding to use winamp only today, when I saw the update.
