It's about time for this "tuition bubble" to burst.back in 2003 i was researching a college that specialized in multimedia degrees. The particular degree i was interested in was audio engineering(sound production..not sure what it was). Anyways, in 2003 the degree plan was $32,000 for a bachelors. I changed my mind and moved on to something else. Last year i checked up on that school to see how much the same degree costs in 2008, it was around $70,000. In 5 years it goes up over 100%. Something isn't right..
Too true. The Alien series made the men marines look like pussies in comparison to the heroine.!

My cat will scratch the hell out of her scratching post, her cardboard scratcher, and the old rug we've expressly allowed her to use, but she doesn't scratch anything else in the house. Making her toys appealing and a firm "NO!" if she tries to scratch at anything off limits is enough to keep her in line. We still trim her claws semi-regularly so that she doesn't accidentally pick at the bedspread or couch when she jumps up on the furniture. While trimming used to be a miserable experience for everyone involved, after two years she now sits patiently and even purrs while the trimming takes place. My cat is a frisky, wild thing and we are first-time pet owners, and yet it really wasn't that hard to do the humane thing and teach her what is acceptable behavior and what isn't.?
Funny how Clinton was paying off the debt and wanted this practice to continue under Gore. But the Republicans, at the first sight of a surplus, screamed bloody murder about how it was their money and that the governent couldnt be trusted to spend it. So instead of electing Gore, getting a modest tax cut and continue to pay off debt, Bush Jr was elected, got two massive tax cuts, a war we didnt need and now all we hear is non-stop bitching about how Obama is ruining America. Look in the mirror next time you complain about national debt. If a Republican gets elected in 2012, take a WILD guess what they'll do, propose a massive tax cut that we still cant afford and add another trillion to that debt. |

I couldn't agree more. I am a smoker....I like to consider I beat the statistics since I didn't start till I turned 18, but I know very well what the dangers are and I accept what may happen.

I grew up Mormon, and I can tell you that from a young age, it is impressioned upon young girls that they need a man to take care of them, and teach them to be a housewife only. Not that a career is not allowed, but it is subliminally discouraged, as the roll of women in the Mormon church is to simply breed more tithe payers. So you can understand the underlying analogy in Twilight that Bella is a sad and helpless girl without a man to be her superior and tell her how to live. She goes ***** insane just because Edward leaves her, and she can't function without a man to give meaning to her life.
